there is no "./configure" in FreeBSD. You have to make an entry for CFLAGS

I tried with now both entries -I/usr/local/include and -L/usr/local/lib for CFLAGS in /etc/make.conf and tried to run mke, but this time it says "configure script can't find /usr/local/lib" (but it IS there, I have checked that!!) Now, as I think that does not take us any further, I tried something else: I have installed SUSE OSS 11.0 Alpha3 on a separate disk. Great display output. Perfect resolution. Monitor type and model perfectly recognised. I checked /etc/X11/xorg.conf, and: radeonhd driver is used! I ran rhd_conntest and attach the output (+ 2 files which I am not sure if have been produced by rhd_conntest) Axel
