http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=16263 --- Comment #49 from born.into.silence@gmail.com 2008-07-26 16:22:10 PST --- Hello It's been a while (Lot of work ...) Following Yannick's advice, I remove one of the memory sticks from my laptop and ... it works now like a charm ! - had display issues with systematic lockup ... now gone - had acpi issues with lock on booting when not putting acpi=off ... acpi works perfectly now. I would advice anybody who experiences those lockups to check the memory. I had 1 Gb + 2 Gb sticks, from different manufacturers and running at different frequencies. With radeonhd-1.2.1, xorg works but uses the wrong video output (lcd shows nothing, and xorg uses vga auxiliary output). This bug seems to be fixed in latest git head : it works now on the right display. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug. _______________________________________________ xorg-team mailing list xorg-team@lists.x.org http://lists.x.org/mailman/listinfo/xorg-team -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org
