1. The Installation: on FBSD 7.0 AMD64 First load failed due to missing packages: 2. I copied the package list from a other i386 ver: 6.0 unit that installed with out problems, but could not run tests. 3. The software on AMD64 installation of ver:1.2.3 + patch level 0001-HDMI-support-including-Audio.patch as OK apart from the manual. 4. I also added the sysutilis/??? package but not the zlib or libz package as was requested. (sorry i have miss-pleased my noted on the correct pkg name) 5. At the end of the installation computation this was shown: Please send this to the for records and or correction. 6. Subject: 0x9440:0x1002:0x0502: MSI Radeon 4870 (two off them) 7. I ran 'startx' and HAY-PRESTO an X-Screen! but on exit the recovery never found the std root # promt again. Had to hard re-set. 8. I att'd the Xorg.0.log and an older one as well. 9. Can any one please give guidance and or advise on the correction of this matter?
