The openSUSE Community is proud to announce its new Code of Conduct as approved by the openSUSE Board.
The openSUSE Code of Conduct was written during several Community Meetings [1] as a collaborative project and reports were sent to the project mailinglists. The input from the openSUSE community members was sent the openSUSE Board and discussed at length during two public openSUSE Board meetings [2].
Who and what is our "Moderation Team"? I have googled it and I can only see our Forums Team mentioned.
There isn't one at the moment. The general idea is to have a body of two representatives for each communication platform to be part of a Moderation Team. A document that explains this in more detail is being worked on to be presented to the community, however it has been put on hold because it was agreed by those working on this that the Code of Conduct would need to come first . We are tracking this issue at https://code.opensuse.org/board/tickets/issue/27 (minutes of the last meetings not yet uploaded). Best, Maurizio
