Not sure if this should be here on Project or in Factory....
Just a question... when openSUSE 11.3 is released is there any possibility that we can provide a "easy" way to create a full install from USB sticks?
There is a page written in the Wiki here: http://en.opensuse.org/Live_USB_stick which details how to build a LiveCD on a USB stick.... this works, but it's difficult for new /inexperienced users to deal with.
Don't think simply running 'dd' should be too difficult for most people. But it would be nice if someone could slap a gui "frontend" to dd together, which lets them select the iso and device and asks them if they're absolutely sure they want to delete everything on the device about 3-4 times, before proceeding. Maybe as a yast module.. to get Qt and gtk versions "for free". -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-project+help@opensuse.org
