Thank you for your prompt response. I will try your solution, but... how can I set kernel args before the installation? I am sorry if this is a beginner question, but I have set kernel args only AFTER installations, never BEFORE (I am an experienced Intel Linux user, not PCC). When I boot, the system does not ask me for any kernel parameter (I boot from the CD with PPCBug), so how can I set parameters for SuSE install? Try "video=clgen:off" as kernel arg. This Cirrus Logic framebuffer version is buggy. You could try kernel 2.4 instead.
