I think I can feel it, especially if amount of taken memory is proportional to size of write. I have like 200mb ram, but machine feels slower than usuall..
The amount of memory eaten is the amount written to disc, minus the buffers from the internal pool. I first noticed it when doing low memory testing, I hit swap in no time.
.... so this makes me wonder, how about 0.0.2d against 2.4.0-test8 plus all known fixes ?
