Hi,
Some time ago I had the same problem. After some time, I discovered that we should change permissions to allow general users to write to a newly formatted cdrw.
Try this:
1) Mount your udf formatted disk 2) Let's assume that your mount point is /mnt/cdrw. Then, as root do a "chmod a+w /mnt/cdrw" 3) Umount the disk. 4) Do the same to all all udf cdrw's.
You should be now able to write to your disks as a general user.
Good luck,
Paulo
I did "chmod a+w /media/cdrw", "umount /media/cdrw" and umount hung :(, plus I can't reboot or sync anything. Si.
