Hi folks (SUSE packagers),
openSUSE 11.0 Beta1 is coming closer and now is a good time to do version updates for your packages.
dunno if this has been discussed/proposed elsewhere, and it isn't a version update either, but shouldn't we finally rename the "xntp" package into "ntp"? I know this may appear as a cosmetical issue, but according to http://www.ntp.org/ntpfaq/NTP-s-def.htm#AEN1422: In practice xntp refers to an implementation of version three or older while ntp refers to implementation of version four (or later). And we're using ntp version four since quite some time, i.e. years... What do others think?
