Just a quick question about the official 11.2 distribution packaging process: What is RPM_OPT_FLAGS set to when the official RPMs are built? I noticed that if I download gzip-1.3.12-100.4.src.rpm and do rpmbuild -ba I don't get stripped binaries, yet the officially released x86_64 rpms have stripped binaries. I also notice there is no %debug_package macro, yet there is a gzip-debuginfo rpm available. How are these built for the official opensuse release? Just curious.
