Hello List, I have trouble getting a nvidia nforce audio chip to work properly. Both alsaconf and yast recognize the chip, but both configs seem to interfere with my gfx card: when i move a window i get serious drop-outs and strange sounds. I guess that's an interrupt problem, but i couldn't find anything to solve that. (It uses the same Interrupt as the acpi system) I've been searching, but i was not able to find module parameters that enable me to specify an interrupt for the chip. Do you know module parameters for this chipset that define the interrupt? Sometimes alsaconf seems to "guess" the right parameters, without disturbing sounds - what does it do exactly? where can i look up, which config it chose? Funny: Yast never gets it right ... ???
