I think it would definitely be a good idea to do that. But here's what I propose we do. It seems we're starting to say "what about this page, what about that page?" We're moving into a very haphazard way of addressing a very real issue which is making our pages accessible across all language barriers. Instead of saying let's do this and this and this... Let's try a more organizational approach. Map out all the crucial pages we have in a spreadsheet (perhaps make this accessible online) and then determine which ones need translation and coordinate it from there. -- Bryen Yunashko Proud 2008 Candidate for openSUSE Board -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+help@opensuse.org

I totally agree -- but this is a discussion that's more germane to the -translation list than -marketing. We do need to address this issue, but I don't want to be reinventing the wheel. :-) The Translation Team has a page now with the status of translation for various things -- this is probably where the crucial pages should be tracked: http://en.opensuse.org/Translation_Team Best, Zonker -- Joe 'Zonker' Brockmeier openSUSE Community Manager http://zonker.opensuse.org/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+help@opensuse.org

Hi, I will lead this discussion to translation list, despite that is only for the translation of the distro itself. Maybe the 'correct' one is the -wiki list as this link is related to wiki. Three diferent teams/list to do almost thee same think that is translating (i18n, l10n and doc) Regards, Luiz -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+help@opensuse.org
