Hello!
As desired I will introduce myself as a new openSUSE Ambassador in this email.
My name is Thomas Hofstätter. I use openSUSE 11.1 with GNOME 2.24 since nearly two months. (I know that's not a very long time but I feel confident to cope with this job.)
My place is near Vienna, Austria, Europe. There I will take an active part in openSUSE Marketing.
Other personal data you can find on my User's Page. http://en.opensuse.org/User:Okuro
Other jobs of mine are at the openSUSE Weekly News team. I am Event-Editor and Translator from German to English. So I have a favor to ask you: Would you be so kind as to mail all past and upcoming events to me?

Welcome aboard Thomas! I would say you are definitely off to a good start, because you wrote openSUSE correctly! :-) I hope many others follow in your example and learn to write openSUSE, not OpenSUSE or Opensuse. Please feel free to ping any of us for assistance. As Austria is not that far from Nuremberg Germany (compared to Chicago, USA where I live) I hope we see you at the openSUSE Conference in two weeks.
