just to begin with, my work place (sorry, in french)
better give a general link to the demo videos (work in progress, do not share without reason)
Well... on that page I referenced three kind of videos.
1) a small shot showing my own desktop with video in run by a small compact camera;
2) the complete shot of the said camera, showing the computer screen during openSUSE installation. I can only shot 8 mn at a time with this camera (2Gb fat 32 files, HD 720p)
3) the same shot, from recordMyDesktop. Looks like RMD can neither record more than 10 minutes (at least as default from the GUI)
For the final video, we probably have to mix these recording methods, not to be too boring.
Ok, you're way ahead of me, shame on me for reading up on this so late. Sorry for that! Yes, mixing an external shot & recordmydesktop, brilliant idea :D
The present comment, when there is one, is in french (much easier for me to speak french when nothing is prepared :-). I can give
* a basic english text written by hand * a basic voice over with the text.
I need an enbglish speaker able to repeat the english text, preferably with a good accent (english one or may be NY one? I know the Texas one and don't beleive it to be good for us. It's not the sound of the accent that is a problem (I like accents :-) but the english have to be understood by bad english listeners, and so have to be worded s l o w a n d w i t h t h e s l l a b u s d e t a c h e d (not too much, of course :-))
Imho brittish sounds sexy, we could probably trick Andrew Wafaa or Will Stephenson or so?
