I hope that does not mean that Evergreen 13.1 drops support for the 32 bit arch. :-?
No, it does not. After all, moving from SLE12 to SLE12-SP1 kernel does not mean any difference from this point of view (i586 has been dropped even in SLE12 GA).
On the other hand, while I usually at least boot and run new kernels for a few days before committing them to home:mkubecek:evergreen-13.1 OBS project, I don't have any system to actually test i586 builds at the moment; together with the fact that there is no i586 SLE12 release it means that i586 builds are only build tested (for now, at least).
I have just installed your Evergreen candidate kernel on one of my remaining i686 machines. It's being booted several times each week so should be a good test. One thing I have noticed at first boot is the following error message (twice): Problem loading in-kernel X.509 certificate (-19) This was discussed before and fixed on openSUSE 13.2: https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=925479 I suppose the same kind of fix would have to be applied to your kernel.
