Have you any Idea why this is not working with this Chipset ?
No, no workaround Günther should be needed, please file a bug report so the issue with your hardware is fixed ASAP.
As I see it (I might be wrong) it is unlikely that this is a problem in the logitech driver but more of a problem in your USB controller driver.
Attach to the bug report the output of "journalctl -b" and "hwinfo" so kernel devs can check what the hell is going on there.
Long time ago before 3.1 some of us was forced to have module hid-logitech-dj loaded at boot ( declared in /etc/sysconfig/kernel) so it was included by mkinitrd. Günther also check what modules are loaded before and after you plug the usb dongle -- Bruno Friedmann Ioda-Net Sàrl www.ioda-net.ch openSUSE Member GPG KEY : D5C9B751C4653227 irc: tigerfoot -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+owner@opensuse.org
