Hi Javier, I've tested manually the dolphin iso:// url scheme and each time it said unknown protocol ? or a not found object. if I manually put the right url iso:/home/bruno/src_tmp/abuledulive.8.04.iso it works Perharps a it's better to have iso:"%U" (double quote for blank ?) Don't know. I've noticed that I've already got a service menu called isoservice.desktop (see attachement) which is nice is it contain all Translation. but use konqueror. I've found also this one cat /usr/share/kde4/services/iso.protocol [Protocol] exec=kio_iso protocol=iso listing=Name,Type,Size,Date,AccessDate,CreationDate,Access,Owner,Group,Link input=filesystem output=filesystem reading=true source=true Icon=cd Description=A kioslave for ISO9660 filesystems MimeType=application/x-iso -- Bruno Friedmann (aka tigerfoot on irc)

The service menu opens a new Dolphin window with iso:/path/file.iso (with just one slash) even if it has Exec=dolphin iso://%U But I think you're right, the extra slashes are not needed. (iso://%U -> iso:/// -> iso:/) Thanks for telling me.
I've noticed that I've already got a service menu called isoservice.desktop (see attachement) which is nice is it contain all Translation. but use konqueror.
Do you see an action for previewing ISO images if you right click an ISO image? I don't have any service menu for doing that on Konqueror or Dolphin.
I've found also this one
cat /usr/share/kde4/services/iso.protocol [Protocol] exec=kio_iso protocol=iso listing=Name,Type,Size,Date,AccessDate,CreationDate,Access,Owner,Group,Link input=filesystem output=filesystem reading=true source=true Icon=cd Description=A kioslave for ISO9660 filesystems MimeType=application/x-iso
The thing is that the action (service menu) is missing, the rest is there. Not everybody knows that there's such functionality. -- Javier Llorente
