[opensuse-kde] Nepomuk et al with KDE SC4.4
Hello everybody, I upgraded my desktop to the latest KDE jewel, and am starting to discover all the changes. I would like to have Nepomuk/Strigi/Akonadi functional, but it seems there is something wrong: When I enable Nepomuk and Strigi in system settings, I get the following error: "Nepomuk was not able to find the configured database backend 'redland'. Existing data can thus not be accessed Then, after 1min: "Nepomuk Indexing Agents Have Been Disabled" Does anybody experience the same problem? yes, replace the soprano-backend-redland with soprano-backend-sesame and soprano-backend-virtuoso (seems both are required) and try again. The redland backend is badly broken (at least for me). -- Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://counter.li.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
