Hello List, A few days ago (13.3.) our current Mail Server went bonkers and didn't accept any mails for a night. This made me, among other things, miss some answers to a question I posed on this list. Now ezmlm was so kind to inform me today about which messages bounced and offered me to resend them if I wished. I did that, and now I have all messages in a digest, and would like to extract them into my mailing list folder (all under KMail). Can I save the encapsulated messages separately and import them somehow. The MIME-Tree view gives me of every encapsulated messages two views: 1. "file: suse-kde_2298.ezm" and 2. "encapsulated message". Selecting either of them gives the same view in the preview pane. Right-clicking in the MIME viewer on either of them gives two choices: "Save As", and "Save as Encoded". What would be the right procedure? Kostas

I believe that you can route the entire digest thru formail in one shot. Look at man formail: EXAMPLES To split up a digest one usually uses: formail +1 -ds >>the_mailbox_of_your_choice or formail +1 -ds procmail To remove all Received: fields from the header: formail -I Received: To remove all fields except From: and Subject: from the header: formail -k -X From: -X Subject: To supersede the Reply-To: field in a header you could use: formail -i "Reply-To: foo@bar" gud luk -- Patrick Shanahan Please avoid TOFU and trim >quotes< http://wahoo.no-ip.org Registered Linux User #207535 icq#173753138 @ http://counter.li.org

You can also just request each individually if it's only a few, e.g., for msgnum in 2000 2001 2002 2003 2004 2005 2006; do echo |mail suse-kde-get.$msgnum@suse.com done -- -ckm

To supersede the Reply-To: field in a header you could use: formail -i "Reply-To: foo@bar"
