[opensuse-kde] Kmail crashes right after start
Hello, I am using KMail 2.1.0 with KDE 4.6 and when I start KMail it is set to check my IMAP email. But it crashes after 2 or 3 seconds, so I cannot access any emails. What could I do now? Right now I write this message with "kmail -- composer", this works. But I cannot start KMail. Do I really need to delete everything and start from scratch!? The IMAP email would be no problem, because I would not lose anything, but when starting from scratch I would lose all my POP3 stuff..... How can I start KMail to prevent it from checking for new emails? What do I need to change in kmailrc so KMail does start without email check? Thanx Malte Okay, I have now deleted the kmailrc and have set my settings again. Thankfully my POP accounts were not lost, this is the good thing with Akonadi, you can delete kmail settings and do not lose your email account settings.

If you'd have kept the old kmailrc you could have compared it and the bug that lead to the crash could have been fixed. Sven -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

I´m sorry, I just wanted to get a working KMail setup as quickly as possible and did not think about this. I keep in mind for next time. Malte -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
