[opensuse-kde] Kmail2 changes message id creation
I am shocked.... old kmail used to make the email address part of the message id. So in my example the last part of the message id always was "malte.gell.gmx.....". This was great, it easily allowed filtering for replys to your messages, because the mail address became part of the reference header. This has changed with KMail2. Now the machine´s name ist part of the message id. It might be more correct in terms of RFCs, but I would like to get the old behaviour back. Is there any way in KDE to make the email address be part of the message id? Claws Mail lets the user chose, whether the email address should become part of the message id. You can see this when you look at the source code of both my messages in this thread. Maybe I should file a proposal to integrate this into KMail2. Malte -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
