Today I was trying to create a new subfolder in kmail but everything I tried failed, the closest I came was being able to create a new folder under "Top Level". I tried changing this folders properties but the only option available seems to be "Top Level"
Is this a known issue?
SuSE 8.1 pro, kde3.1.1, kmail 1.5.1
I found this out a few days ago. The only way I could fix it was to reinstall the previous version of kde-network mail.(from 3.1.1-35 to 3.1.1-6). I haven't reported it because i wasn't sure to whom it should be reported. Did you use apt tp update recently? Just wondering if it was a new suse thing or a kde issue. Do you have the new XFree86 installed? I have an inkling that it needs that, but I'm probably wrong.

There seems to be several problems with the new files as most everyone has pointed out. After updating to the new KDE stuff from SuSE's site, I found as someone else had mentioned that I could not see any mails in kmail. They were there, you could hit reply and see them, but they would not display in the main window. I changed the fonts settings in kmail and all is well again. I see also as David points out that you can't do sub-folders any longer only those under the top level. Other than those things at the moment, kmail seems to be working pretty well so far. I tried moving back to the previous QT files to see if that had any affect on things and it didn't do much except for some bad looking fonts. The new QT does do fonts better!
