Hi there,
when I try to run a command as root within my KDE session, kdesu does not work, it simply does not do anything.
I invoke this command: kdesu -u root -c /sbin/yast2
But, nothing, happens, no error message, nothing.
The same happens with xdg-su, xdg-su -u root -c /sbin/yast2 does nothing, no error message, just nothing.
both work here, openSUSE Tw what happens when you su to root in a terminal and run /sbin/yast2 or can you even su to root? can you start *anything* as root? could you ever run the commands you site?
What could be broken there?
