I updated KDE to version 3.5.2 from the supplementary folder. Now I can't install RPMs by clicking the <Install Package with YaST> button or use the <Use Directory as Source with YaST> button. This is what I'm getting running Konqueror in a terminal session.
user@linux:~> konqueror konqueror: WARNING: KXMLGUIClient::setXMLFile: cannot find .rc file krpmview.rc kparts: WARNING: Part '' has a widget with a focus policy of NoFocus. It should have at least a ClickFocus policy, for part activation to work well. kdesu: Unknown option '-n'. kdesu: Use --help to get a list of available command line options. kdesu: Unknown option '-n'.
This is the same problem I reported in the thread "KDE 3.5.2 Control Center Admin Mode Broken?" on this list. There's a bug open for it: "Bug 162790 - kdesu -n unknown option"
Could you provide an url, please? :)
Arjen de Korte did that off-list; thanks Arjen! :) According to the bugreport at bugzilla.novell.com, the bug appeared in 10.1-beta9, and was solved. But all kdebase3-SuSE .src.rpm's from 9.3, 10.0 and 10.1-beta9 still have the bug. I didn't check earlier versions. ;P Cheers, Leen
