What about using lower case only, something like this: kde:distribution:stable/openSUSE_11.3 kde:distribution:factory/openSUSE_11.3 kde:distribution:trunk/openSUSE_11.3 kde:extra/openSUSE_11.3 kde:playground/openSUSE_11.3 kde:kde3/openSUSE_11.3
hmm where would be the benefit?
It is less intimidating, upper case is like shouting. php is an abbreviation too, but it is written in lower case: server:/php:/applications Easy to remember and to type too. There are more lower case abbrevations in this repository: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/server:/ (http, irc, ltsp, etc)
KDE as an abbrevation could justify writing large and openSUSE is the proper name, only STABLE and TRUNK fall out of the usual scheme, no idea why actually.
