Hi all,
after an upgrade of KDE to version 3.4 via Yast the "sux" script seems broken. The typical error looks like that:
micha@Moehre:~> sux Password: Moehre:/home/micha # xeyes Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server Xlib: Protocol not supported by server
Error: Can't open display: :0.0
An "xhost +" remedies this problem, but the purpose of the sux script is to avoid disabling acces control, I suppose.
I'm using Suse 9.1. After the update I cleaned up /tmp and ran the genkdmconfig script.
Anybody has a similar problem and knows how to solve it?
I've got 9.1 fully updated, and just did an sux without any problem. Unfortunately I don't know how to solve it, and I have not done "xhost +"
