I'm having problems setting up imap and I'm hoping that someone is using imap and kmail 1.9.3 who can tell me what setting they have in their kmailrc file. I need to set a subfolder called "mail" as the base mail directory. I cannot find any options in kmail to do that, so I'm hoping that some setting in the kmailrc file will do the trick.
kmail figures out by itself what namespace to use. However, when you're using an old imap server it may encounter problems determining the namespace. So, what imap server are you subscribing to?
I am using imap-2004c_suse-2 on SUSE Linux 10.0. Assuming that kmail is having problems figuring out the namespace, how can I help out? The namespace setting in kmailrc are: Namespace:=/ Namespace:#ftp/=/ Namespace:#mh/=/ Namespace:#mhinbox= Namespace:#news.=. Namespace:#public/=/ Namespace:#shared/=/ Namespace:~=/ Considering that I want kmail to use the "mail" directory in the user's home area, what should I enter where in order to achieve this? (The path for the user's home area is /home/pgrads/username) Thanks Eddie
