Hi Henk, I'm a little confused, why do you start both programs or try to start both? Kmail is contained within Kontact, so there is no need to start it individually. In fact, if Kontact is started first, starting KMail only moves you to the kmail section of Kontact, it doesn't start another session of KMail up for you. As Leen pointed out, you have to quit KMail/Kontact from the menu File>Quit or use Ctrl-Q to close it. If you don't, it only suspends it to the systray and it will automatically start the next time you boot, because it is still running. This is the case with most all KDE programs now. Not sure of the logic, but that seems to be the direction they've went. regards, Lee -- --- KMail v1.7.2 --- SuSE Linux Pro v9.2 --- Registered Linux User #225206 Sign at college bookstore: Accepted at more colleges than you were--VISA
