The package 'lsb' pulls in qt3 and this one recommends kdelibs3-default-style. None of those make sense in KDE based system that provides libqt4-qt3support.
Google Earth requires package 'lsb'. This should be normal requirement for any third party application that wants to make sure it is installed in supported environment.
An interesting list of facts, but I don't understand why you wrote them here. Can you please explain and/or ask a question?
In above facts is included implicit question: "Why is listed qt3 instead of libqt4-qt3support as lsb dependency?" They both should provide same functionality.
LSB is supposed to provide binary compatibility. Just the fact that the soname of the library is "libQt3Support.so.4" instead of "libqt-mt.so.3" should already make clear that you can't use the former as a substitute of the later for LSB. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
