HI guys, on my os 13,2 with dolphin 15.04 when I over or select a media file, in the info panel there is a sort of mini player but the play button does nothing...
Tested with wav, flac, mp3, mpeg, avi.
Is there something missing ?
Can you play them in Dragonplayer? You need to have the appropriate codecs installed. Depending on which Phonon backend you use, this would either be a gstreamer- plugins package or vlc-codecs. Both would also need an uncrippled ffmpeg/libav*. If you are using gstreamer, make sure all packages have the same versions. I'd recommend to do a full switch to the Packman repo to make sure everything is aligned, and it should work. I just tried a random AVI file here (MP3/Xvid), and it played fine using phonon-backend-vlc, but I do remember having it working with phonon-backend- gstreamer in the past too.
