Kmail Toolbar Icons

It is easy to add the "select all" action to the toolbar, but since "select all" doesn't have an image/icon associated with it the icon that appears on the toolbar is a nondescript kind of generic page icon. I looked in the ~/.kde/icons... directory but many of the icons aren't really named the same as the action they represent (although most are close). It seems that the image and action are being associated in some other way. I wanna a Greek keyboard

Hello out there, it seems that I am asking too much, from an automated installer like sax. While it generates ok, the XF86Config file something is missing. I need to have a keyboard with English and Greek characters, being toggled via the usual alt+shift combination ... so I use the appropriate KDE tool, and I set up both languages, having the afforementioned language switch combination selected also into the appropriate window ... So I have both languages but I can't switch between them via keyboard, I need to do this by clicking the appropriate icon on the taskbar, pretty annoying and misleading too. I have checked manually a few files, and I did a quick search over the net, so it seems that I have to modify XF86Config manually for the X-Server to understand what I want to do. KDE generated kxkbrc is looking fine but this isn't enough. By the way el isn't available into the xfree86 keyboard definition file. So I would need a little help from you, how I can create the proper settings and put them in there? I am using SuSE 9.0 pro Thank you in advance Nicholas

Saving "Text Under Icon" settings

Moved from Gentoo/Gnome to SuSE/KDE and I'm working my way to getting things the way I like them. One problem I've run across is certain applications and/or windows not saving my "Text Under Icons" for my icons. Specifically, in KMail, if I double click a message, set "Text Under Icons", close the window, and then reopen it, it's back to just the icon. Does anyone know why this setting isn't being saved? Or better yet, a way to set this globally? Seems very trivial I know, but it's something that seems too simple and it not working is bugging me a lot. Thanks, Chris

Konqueror and Abbey National Business

Hi, Abbey Business won't let me login using Konqueror (which is 3.2.2). Try this site and click on logon: http://www.anbusiness.com/ You get: An error occurred while loading https://www.anbusiness.com/weblogic/FNG/jsp/logon.jsp: Connection to host www.anbusiness.com is broken Funny thing is that the Abbey National domestic customer site DOES work. Can anyone see why they are bomming us out. I have the following java: java version "1.4.2_04" Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.2_04-b05) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.2_04-b05, mixed mode) Any pointers. In meantime I will use Firefox which seems to work just fine. Berni

Boson 0.10 won't compile (SL 9.1).

KPilot in Suse 9.1 moving calendar dates

Has anyone else seen this when synching various Palms? I've seen it with the Zire 71 and the Palm V. Are there updated KPilot packages that fix this?

Problem with konqueror

Hi, Konqueror is present problem accessing several pages that have javascript (I think), after download the page it reset the page and show a blank screen and some case go back to before page. One example with blank screen is http://www.3com.com/products/en_US/downloadsindex.jsp?home1=supportdownload Somebody had this problem? Cheers Thadeu

Ark issue with 3.2.2

I was having a problem with Ark after my KDE upgrade to 3.2.2. I removed Karchiver and fixed the Ark issue (Ark could not fork a decompressor). Now I do not have the 'Extract Here' or 'Extract To' menu options under 'Actions' when right clicking a compressed file. Has anyone experience getting these actions items back into the right-click menu? Thanks /Carl

Opening several files with Konqueror in Quanta

Hello to the list, I'm working a lot with different editors like Quanta, Bluefish etc. The problem is, that I often browse my hard-drive with Konqueror, clicking the files I want to open in Quanta for example. On my System (SuSE 9.0 / Quanta 3.3 BE 2 / KDE 3.2.2) this opens a new instance of Quanta every time I click on it, restoring the opened files from the run before the actual instance of Quanta, what is really annoying :-( -- I don't want to use the built-in File-Browser of Quanta because of the much better Features of Konqueror. Anybody with the same problem and a solution? Already used google and browsed some forums - nothing. Greetings! Novalis
