Does our version of GNOME contain a knob to get a usable behaviour?
Bonus points if the windows are not list listed by argv[0] basename, but with some more info (window title?). Switching to a random "rdesktop" window will move the focus into that window and the next Alt+Tab attempt will happen within that OS.

zypper in gnome-shell-classic (or gnome-shell-extensions-common, I can't remember which provides it). Then you should have the alternate-tab extension available. In you case (coming from 11.4 from what I understand), you might want to try the gnome-shell-classic (select from gdm login window) instead. Note that you will probably need to issue a systemctl restart display -manager.service from a VT (or just reboot) before that option is available from gdm. /Bjørn -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-gnome+owner@opensuse.org
