Priority Requester: Important - Package Wishlist: Unconfirmed + Package Wishlist: Rejected by Andreas Jaeger (a_jaeger) + reject reason: Not done. Priority Requester: Important Requested by: Michael Mooney (raspyyeti) Description: Ok as you may have seen in the Google I/O demo video, Google Wave is a very powerful new technology that is built around hosted conversations to enable people to communicate and work together in new and more effective ways But it's use will surpass it's creators concept for Wave. My request is for openSUSE to support both Google Wave provider features and Google Wave user features. Discussion: #1: Todd R (theblackcat) (2010-01-05 18:25:44) Where, exactly, would it be implemented? This seems like something upstream applications would have to add. #2: Matthew Ayres (solar_granulation) (2010-02-17 00:05:56) (reply to #1) I must agree with Todd R, this seems more appropriate to upstream software development. I don't see how Wave would be integrated at the distribution level. #3: Sharque uddin Ahmed Farooqui (safknw) (2010-07-24 12:04:08) (reply to #1) This is a feature for social desktop, must included in kde and/or gnome, not perticularly in openSuse. + #4: Andreas Jaeger (a_jaeger) (2010-11-04 12:56:58) + First this needs upstream involvement. But since Google Wave is dead, I + don't see this coming anymore. -- openSUSE Feature: https://features.opensuse.org/306649
