Hello, Downloaded openSUSE-NET-x86_64-Build0352-Media.iso this morning, but it does not seem to boot. I get the following message: ISOLINUX 4.04 ... Bye, CzP
I will download it today and give it a test, maybe your iso is corrupt, or it´s a build failure. We will see. Kim -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

I downloaded it and tested it on VirtualBox 4.1.4, and it booted correctly, right now, it´s starting SUSE´s installation program. So, you might just need to download the image again (only 170MB downloaded fast here), and try it again. kind regards, --kdl -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

I had the same problem ended up adding Virtualization repo as an Add On media, having said that I only did a text based minimal install Togan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

I assume NET installer installs from the Beta 1 repository. In that case the problem is the same as when you install from the DVD with Beta 1, which has a known issue with installation in VirtualBox. So maybe you can change the repositories during NET installation to factory or factory-tested. -- fr.gr. That would be https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=723777 which is not sepcific to Virtualbox and is not resolved in Factory. Workaround is to use the text installer for now. -- Guido Berhoerster -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

This is an installation in VirtualBox 4.1.2. I tried it myself and it completely failed after several tries. During downloading the packages and leaving it unattended, both factory and factory-tested ended in a state in which everything hangs or nothing works anymore. One time I was looking at the screen during downloading (Performing installation with YaST), I saw the YaST screen disappear and a message telling that a certain directory did not exist. If I remember right, it was /var/run/rpm, but I am not sure. After that I looked in /var/log/YaST, but the log files there did not reveal any clue. I just finished another unattended try, using factory, and it ended the same way. This looks very bad. Should I open a bug report or is this a known problem? -- fr.gr.
