Usually depends on the severity/priority of other bugs for the
component. In this case, if the hardware is not supported its likely
too late for 11.0 as the kernel probably won't change that radically
now.

hello, It is a shame, given that the patch exists (for the card dvb) and the pilot for the fingerprint reader. it works as 10.3 after these changes. Michel JP Rosevear a écrit :

A: No. Q: Should I include quotations after my reply? On Sun, May 04, 2008 at 12:11:14AM +0200, Michel wrote:

The patch needs to be upstream in the kernel.org tree, and the fingerprint reader does not need a kernel driver, fprint should support it (if not, contact me off-list and I'll add it). thanks, greg k-h --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
Hi all just wondering whether we must notify in this mailing list our bug opening. In doubt I'll notify my own bug: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=384171. Not a very urgent one, in my opinion. Best regards Roberto --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

No, this is not wanted and not needed and should only be done in case you want to discuss the severity with others.
