Hallo, my sound doesn t work. if you are running under GNOME:
1) check pulseaudio daemon is running (ps aux | grep pulse)
2) make sure you have all the latest alsa* packages as well as
pulseaudio

I agree with you. My sound disappeared with RC1. Works on 10.3 (Dual boot with 11.0RC1). Also works from Amarok but not from kmail, konquorer, etc. I have KDE3.5.9 installed. we added a "fix" to alsa for RC1 to force alsa apps to go through
pulseaudio, and that broke KDE. A fix is already accepted and prepared
for RC2/GM

yes, the packages have been accepted now, but if you are using KDe, just
remove the mention to /etc/asound-pulse.conf from
the /usr/share/alsa/alsa.conf file, that should do it

Just to note that sound did not work on my x86_64 not running either KDE or Gnome. It did after I started pulseaudio by hand.
