[opensuse-factory] Status of GCC und Blender
Hello, is it too late to update to Blender 2.46 for Opensuse 11.0? Actually gcc-4.3.1-20080507 is in the factory. Will there some updates to newer versions of gcc-4.3.1? What is the last possible date to update gcc43 before it is too late for the release of Opensuse 11.0? The toolchain is frozen. What is the last possible date to update
gcc43 before it is too late for the release of Opensuse 11.0?
If you have an specific problem, with a test case ,please open a bug report, if important it will be probably fixed. -- "Progress is possible only if we train ourselves to think about programs without thinking of them as pieces of executable code.” - Edsger W. Well, I'm tempted to think 20080507 is actually quite recent. Quite as in really, really recent given where we are in the release cycle. :-)

Indeed, if it's something truely severe we'll try to address it, though most probably not via a wholesale update. Andreas, can you share a bit more background on your request? And we have cherry-picked some more fixes from after this date ...

Indeed. What are you actually looking for?
Thanks,
