[opensuse-factory] missing window decorations
after zypper dup --no-allow-vendor-change --no-recommends to Tumbleweed 20180121 window decorations are missing (title bar; minimize/maximize/close buttons; window button/all desktops) kwin --replace & restores the title bar and buttons (quite small, not using selected Breeze theme) restarts to same missing-top-decoration condition no change using xrender, OpenGL 2.0, or OpenGL 3.1 everything else is apparently working fine seems like something small is amiss Any suggestions? kwin is the KDE4 version. Run kwin_x11 instead, preferably in a shell (Konsole, xterm, ...) to get possible error messages. Also, please check/provide your repo list ("zypper lr -d"). There was a similar case in the forums yesterday, the reason was that he added KDE:Frameworks5 and likely had an incompatible mix of packages installed (KDE Frameworks5 has Plasma 5.12 beta since about a week). Removing the repo and running "zypper dup --allow-vendor-change" fixed it for him. (especially "--no-allow-vendor-change" will not upgrade all packages to the newer versions from the repo, only those that you switched manually) Kind Regards, Wolfgang -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

KDE:Frameworks5 was enabled. Your instructions fixed the issue. Thank you Carl
