[opensuse-factory] Firefox error...............
I've been working all day, updating systems from 10.3 to 11.0. I must say, that this is the FIRST time I've done a bunch of systems - UPDATE ONLY - and all is well!!! Good job, boys and girls!! However, I have a problem on one of my boxen, and it's NOT the fault of 11.0 really, as I was having problem before with update FireFox errors. However, now it won't come up. I tried to remove it via Yast and get the following. I know I'm tired, but what am I missing? Thanks, Fred 2008-06-19 21:37:22 PlayOnLinux-3.0.2-2.pm.12.noarch remove ok 2008-06-19 21:37:22 python-gnome-extras-2.19.1-92.1.x86_64 remove ok 2008-06-19 21:37:23 mozilla-xulrunner190-gnomevfs-1.9.0-1.1.x86_64 remove ok 2008-06-19 21:37:24 mozilla-xulrunner181-1.8.1.13-22.1.x86_64 remove ok 2008-06-19 21:37:24 MozillaFirefox-2.0.0.12-5.1.x86_64 remove failed rpm output: Usage: usr/bin/update-mime-database [-hvV] MIME-DIR No directories in update-desktop-database search path could be processed and updated. error: %postun(MozillaFirefox-2.0.0.12-5.1.x86_64) scriptlet failed, exit status 1 -- Linux is an old Latin word meaning, "I don't have to support your Windows anymore." --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

It was in the middle of some long thread that was about ????, so it was easier to look in 'man rpm' to see option not to run any scripts, than to find original post. -- Regards, Rajko http://en.opensuse.org/Portal needs helpful hands. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

I didn't see it there either.........one busy treadmill today! Now, FF does come up, but won't send a link via T-Bird. ALL other updates worked great today......at least it's one of mine that might have to have a fresh install. :( Fred -- Linux is an old Latin word meaning, "I don't have to support your Windows anymore." --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Awww, come on now, Fred, you're always complaining about "busy treadmill" days and lack of sleep and yet you have the time to find, read and post adverts for MS$ products in opensuse-offtopic! :-D ("'Wolf!' cried Fred and everyone ran with openSUSE v11.0 at the ready into the forest to slay the wolf." :-D ) Ciao. -- If you don't succeed you run the risk of failure. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

It worked perfectly and therefor rid me of an issue I have had for 6-months or more and for that I thank you.
