[opensuse-factory] FTP is it really all there?
Hello,
I usually have my own local ftp archive. But the
/pub/suse/distribution/11.0/repo
Seems a bit lacking. When will it all be available?
Thanks,

eh? please clarify. simply use the suse redirector or any of the bazillion mirrors to sync your own site and/or download. http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/11.0/repo/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

I started the repo download from ftp5...dwge.de, and it finish. It size
was way smaller than 10.3. I am now using the mirrors in the US, but the
size seems to be a lot smaller. I was expecting around 80 GB, but I am
closer to around 40 GB.

Well, the joy of lzma. No idea where you expect 80GB from though. Greetings, Stephan --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

I looked at my 10.3 with everything including packman, so I was expecting
about the same size or bigger. I forgot about lzma and being able to
compress things better. I did the same as above and was trying to figure
out where the 10 GB had went. That is why I posted. Shortly after the
post I realized the lzma and was ok about the missing 10 GB. This is a
great release.
Thanks,

Also, we have removed a large number of static libraries and that contributes to save space as well ;-) -- “First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.” - Gandhi Cristian Rodríguez R. repo was some days earlier open than iso. iso is since 13 hours open now. So what is wrong with you? Viele Grüße Eberhard Mönkeberg (emoenke@gwdg.de, em@kki.org)
