I see no errors here or with other perl apps ???
yast2-perl-bindings-2.18.0-3.1 seems to be built against perl 5.10.1, but you still have 5.10.0 installed. no, I am already on the *edge* :^). I do 'zypper dup' regularly, and occasionally something like this occurs but not life threatening. -- Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://counter.li.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Apparently that version fails to satisfy other packages I have installed and is not considered. Is this another side-branch of openSUSE and "opensuse factory" or another version of openSUSE running parallel to Novell's official version?
Factory is not supposed to contain always perfectly satisfied dependencies.
We all know this, but "do not report such bugs" when they concern factory?! Is "http://www.suse.de/~coolo/factory-status.html" a private domain of yours and is not connected to openSUSE in any way, or what? I understand that but have always made bug reports when discussion here did not solve problems I have found in factory. I have looked at the report per your url and see no way for me to report or *help* displayed there. What is your suggestion? I still do not have a working YaST2. Is that not high on the "need to work" list in Factory?
