I'm running Factory on my day-to-day work notebook (I know: never use it on productive systems and the like... but it's still the best test) and have not seen any badly rendered icons.
Is it in special places you see this? Special apps? Maybe you can share a screenshot?
Just almost every icon and also some other graphical stuff. But: It's gone now! I've played around with sax2 to switch between vesa and vbox drivers and run the vbox driver now w/o graphical artefacts. So if anything I would call that a vbox issue.
