Hi, I'm considering updating clutter from 1.4.x to 1.5.x and 1.6.0 when it'll be out (before the end of the month). The reason is that there's no way we can get the gnome-shell package working with clutter 1.4.x, unless we keep an old version of gnome-shell, mutter, gtk3 and more. And keeping the old versions is more harmful than helpful, imho. Note that the list of packages using clutter in openSUSE is rather limited, and they're, as far as I know, all GNOME-related: empathy, gnome-games, gthumb, as well as plugins for claws and for eog. And mutter/gnome-shell, of course. I don't expect any specific issue with the update. Any opinion on this?
