The installation program is looking for braille displays, but somebody mentioned that as a new to Linux you may have better luck with released version, ie. openSUSE 11.0 . On last Thursday there was new set of Live CDs. If you downloaded earlier you may try again. Regards, Rajko On Sunday 23 November 2008 05:33:38 pm Christian wrote:
Many thanks for trying it out. I am however able to use the Live CD and I can then install it using Orca, the screen reader for Gnome. But I had a problem with that the installation program wasn't able to mount my harddrive for some reason. I haven't tried this as of yet, but if the installation goes into text mode, wouldn't it be possible to have BRLTTY loaded and detect any USB braille display? Best regards and thanks, Christian
