Same here. Sorry to the people who cares about it. But the only thing I'm personally interested in regarding graphical boot is the easiest way to disable it and reliably uninstall all files related to it. I'm not an average user though. But I did install openSUSE Tumbleweed on several average users' laptops. They never asked why the boot process looks not nice. They only care about what happens after login and whether everything works reliably (Firefox, LibreOffice, PDF-Viewer or similar). Ciao, Michael.
