This makes some sense since DVDs are becoming the most widely used for distribution. Most of the linux magazines only include DVDs, not CDs and DVD drives have been common for several years now.
This would also allow inclusion of more content and allow users more choice of software. There could also be a folder with information and tutorials for new users that might make openSuSE more attractive.
