What keeps you from updating your Tumbleweed to https://opensuse.zq1.de/history/20200801/tumbleweed/repo/oss/ that has every rpm .xz compressed(as has been the case for a long time)? ==== Other than this is the first I've heard of it, I'm not sure.
I had written about it on https://lizards.opensuse.org/2019/04/03/experimental-opensuse-mirror-via-ipf... and mentioned a few times on reddit and factory ML, but I dont have the time to do big advertising and it more of a side-project that I keep working as good as I can with 6TB of online disk space.
When did opensuse switch to the new rpm-compression?
around 2020-08-26, so it should work.
