In making a tool, I got libtool: error: cannot find the library '/usr/lib64/../lib64/libstdc++.la' or unhandled argument '/usr/lib64/../lib64/libstdc++.la'
So I went to look for it.
I can't find it in tumbleweed. What could have happened to it?
If it existed it would be in a static-devel package generally in openSUSE we don't ship files for static linking, with a few exceptions because it mostly doesn't make sense for us vs dynamic linking, maybe we could / should for gcc though. Is there a specific reason why your using static linking? if not try dynamic linking instead and you won't have these issues. -- Simon Lees (Simotek) http://simotek.net Emergency Update Team keybase.io/simotek SUSE Linux Adelaide Australia, UTC+10:30 GPG Fingerprint: 5B87 DB9D 88DC F606 E489 CEC5 0922 C246 02F0 014B
