Is there any way to configure the theme for gdm? There used to be a tool for it but with 11.1 I cannot find it anywhere...
I could never find the tool, so I just hand-edited the XML in /usr/share/gdm/themes
if I needed something tweaked, and touched /etc/gdm/custom.conf where necessary..
(especially as I hate green being the default background :)
That reminds me of another bug, when I install Xfce, GDM is installed too, but the
default displaymanager is xdm which is ugly as f--k. Is it really that big of a
chore to enable GDM by default?
If that's not the idea then why bother installing GDM with the Xfce pattern at all?
