Once you turn on networked auth (NIS at least, but I think also for LDAP), YaST pops up a window telling you that autologin is enabled for user "foo" and asks if you want to disable that. A similar thing when adding a user with the YaST user module would be good and probably it would not be that much work to implement (worst case would be to steal the code from the networked auth module).
